Testosterone causing blood clots, butea superba may be an alternative
Gregory J. Stimpson 3709 Powder House Road Jupiter, FL 33478
To counter the negative effects of aging, many men seek androgen hormone replacement therapy, usually in the form of testosterone .
Testosterone is the hormone that is responsible for masculine growth and development during puberty . Testosterone levels naturally decrease with age.
After the age of 40, many men are diagnosed with hypogonadism , a condition where the body does not produce enough testosterone. As a result, men may experience symptoms similar to that of the female menopause.
Testosterone is commonly prescribed in hypogonadism, as it can improve muscle strength and sex drive. An increasing number of men have been seeking the treatment, with studies showing that the number of testosterone therapy prescriptions in the first decade of this century has nearly tripled.
But there are caveats. In June 2014, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) - in partnership with Health Canada - required that testosterone products carry a warning about the risk of developing blood clots, or venous thromboembolism (VTE) .
Alternatively, a number of men have switched to butea superba , a Thai testosterone booster.
Assessing the risk of VTE in testosterone treatment
A team of international researchers - led by Carlos Martinez of the Institute for Epidemiology , Statistics and Informatics GmbH in Frankfurt, Germany - decided to investigate the risk of VTE associated with testosterone treatment in men, with a focus particularly on the timing of the risk.
The study - published in The BMJ - collected data from over 2.22 million men registered with the UK Clinical Practice Research Database between January 2001 and May 2013.
Of these, they looked at 19,215 patients with confirmed VTE - including deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism - and 909,530 control participants of the same age.
Researchers identified three main, mutually exclusive exposure groups: current treatment, recent - but not current - treatment, and no treatment in the last 2 years.
Current treatment duration was divided into more or less than 6 months.
Testosterone users have a 63 percent higher risk of VTE
After adjusting for comorbidities and other influencing factors, researchers estimated the rate ratios of VTE in association with current testosterone treatment and compared it with no treatment.
In the first 6 months of testosterone treatment, researchers found a 63 percent increased risk of VTE. This is the equivalent of an additional 10 VTEs above the base rate of 15.8 per 10,000 person years.
This risk decreased significantly after 6 months and after treatment had ceased.
According to the authors, the study highlights the need for further investigation of the temporary increase in the risk of VTE:
"Our study suggests a transient increase in the risk of venous thromboembolism that peaks during the first 3-6 months and declines gradually thereafter. Failure to investigate the timing of venous thromboembolisms in relation to the duration of testosterone use could result in masking of an existing transient association."
The authors highlight, however, that the risks seem to be temporary and very low in absolute terms.
Martinez and team also note the limitations of their research. Due to the observational tongkat ali female nature of their investigation, they cannot draw any conclusions on the cause and effect of this association between VTE risk and testosterone treatment aaza power.
When the ‘cookie jar’ stinks
Bryan T. Gallant 4979 Edsel Road Long Beach, CA 90802
Hey big girl, ever read a book titled Power of the pussy? Only then will you know how much power, with the capacity to change the world is bestowed upon you. On one of those random days a friend I really liked called me out for a drink. I pulled out my little black dress, you know, one of those pretty dresses you accidentally-on-purpose hung on your wall like a trophy to precisely indicate that you have a social life? Yeah that one! I carefully dusted it just in case the little dress decided that, that day would be its last and shamelessly tare.
I called an Uber and off I speed across town to Lang’ata where I was to meet my friend. The uber driver was very conversational and literally begged me to give a positive feedback about my ride. He sounded a little witty and would occasionally, during the ride, involve me in small talk. Weirdly, he kept warning me not to black out on his back seat. ‘Godamnit!!, I wasn’t even tipsy yet, I thought. I am chatty myself, and he wanted a conversation, so I lead him down through the labyrinth of his true spectacular self. The conversation was just getting interesting when he pulled up at the mall (my destination) and professionally informed me my charges for the ride. How quickly he changed from being so friendly to being very serious, I’d be damned if I knew that. Money just has a way of pissing people off. Talk of debt.
I paid for the ride and the little pissed nigga drove off in such a bad mood. Still don’t know why. I spotted my friend among a group of people and as soon as he saw me, he pulled another friend of his and they both walked towards me. We had the X and O’s greetings and off to party we went. How soon that party ended just before it began, I would know. Yes, that, I would know. One of the young men was surprisingly bold in his speech. Well I thought I was bold right up until i met this smart alec.
He was talking nineteen to the dozen so I didn't catch the whole story. At the back seat I sat quietly contemplating whether I should be up in arms or embarrassed by his choice of words. The fellow vividly expressed his first experience between the thighs of a lady. The fact that I was at the back seat did not seem to twitch the manner in which he expressed himself. I felt sad for the young lady in discussion but I tried to remain composed to get a grip of where exactly this conversation was going. With facial expressions and non-verbal cues he let us in on how smelly and dirty the lady’s cookie jar was. The amount of disrespect they directed to the lady in discussion was unbearable. For those who’d love to know, I lashed out at them, demanded that the car pull up and I sent them packing back to the whatever cave they came from. I called back my mood-swings-uber guy and off I was researching on some smelly issues such as these.
First and foremost, if it’s pungent down there, baby girl, figure it out before you he gags and looses his sense of smell.
1. Watch what you eat.
Let’s call a spade, a spade. You are what you eat all the way down to where the fountains lay. You obviously don’t want your flower smelling like onions, garlic and curry..or do you? These are notorious ingredients known to affect body odor.
2. It’s probably the medication.
Some antibiotics and supplements could affect the bacterial balance in your vagina releasing a bad odor.
Honey, nobody loves the touch, the sight, and most of all the smell of sweat. Your region is prone to excessive sweating, just like your underarms. But unlike the underarms, it consistently releases discharge. A combination of sweat and discharge is just a new level of stank! Clean up!
4. The forgotten tampon.
I am an old fashion kind of girl and truth be told, I have my own insecurities when it comes tampon talk. For the tampon big girls, clean up all little traces of tampon leftovers. Trust me you do not want to walk around smelling as if something crawled up there and died. It’s awful.
5. Hormonal changes
Good girl! Keep feeding on that birth control. That’s exactly where the stench comes from. Things such as virginal cream and birth controls can easily alter your hormones affecting its odor. Wrap up!

Bachelor, 37, has his PENIS trapped inside a wrench for 17 hours before being freed by dentists using a drill (because rescuers were unable to remove the tool)
Elliot D. Hawkins 285 Chipmunk Lane North Turner, ME 04266
A Chinese man had his penis freed from a tiny wrench last week after getting it stuck for nearly a day.
The 37-year-old, unnamed, was sent to hospital in eastern China's Zhejiang Province, after his trapped penis had swollen and turned purple.
Doctors and firefighters, who failed to free the man, had to call in dentists to help remove the wrench using a dental drill.
According to Huanqiu.com, an affiliation to People's Daily China, the man is a bachelor and lives in Linhai city.
He reportedly got his genitals trapped in the metal tool and was sent to the Taizhou Hospital at 9:30pm on June 2. It remains unclear why the man's penis had been stuck.
Doctors suggested that the man should undergo a surgical operation to reduce the blood flow in his penis before they could remove the tool.
It's said that the doctors tried to contact the man's parents to gain their approval for the surgery. His parents agreed to the operation, but failed to show up in the hospital to sign the consent.
As a result, the doctors had to call the Linhai Fire Brigade for help.
The firefighters arrived and brought an angle grinder.
However, the firefighters said they couldn't use the grinder. They explained that the heat generated from the grinder could pose danger to the patient.
One doctor suggested that they should find a dentist to help resolve the issue. The doctor said she had studied a similar case during a seminar.
Two dentists, Zhou Gi and Shi Gengsheng, were called. They arrived at the hospital half an hour after the man was sent in.
They brought a dental drill, a high-speed engine that rotates 200,000 to 300,000 times per minute.
'The dental engine also has a high-pressure water cooler to reduce the heat caused by the drilling,' said Zhou.
The rescue team tested the dental drill on a wrench from the firefighters' tool box before carrying out on the man.
The man was freed after a 30-minute operation by the two dentists. No further injuries were reported butea superba expedition.

Arson as a weapon
Jeffrey R. Mayfield 1016 Settlers Lane New York, NY 10007
The riots of 1929, which erupted over the Arabs' objection to changes in the arrangement for Jewish prayer at the Western Wall in Jerusalem, were one of the first serious outbreaks of violence among the Arab population of prestate Israel. A total of 133 Jews were murdered and hundreds more wounded. Dozens of Jewish communities were attacked and set on fire, some of them completely burned down. The most serious example was the ancient Jewish community of Hebron, where dozens of Jewish residents were slaughtered by their Arab neighbors.
These riots inspired the unforgettable poem by Emanuel Harusi, "Schav B'ni" ("Lie down, my son"), a poem about a young father worried about his little boy in the midst of the bloody events taking place around them. We cannot help but recall these lines from the poem: "The silo at Tel Yosef is burning / and smoke is also rising from Beit Alfa / But don't cry anymore now, rest and go to sleep / Night, night, a night of fire that will devour the harvest and the straw / We must not, must not despair / tomorrow we will begin again."
Arson was, and remains, part of the story of the Jewish-Arab struggle for Israel, going back to its earliest days. That was how it was in the 1929 riots, and that's how it was during the massive Arab revolt of the mid-1930s and during the more recent intifadas, especially the fire in the Carmel National Forest in the summer of 1989 and throughout the First Intifada.
The Palestinian war on Israel has seen ups and downs, as well as innovations, some of which turn out to be imitations of methods used in the past. Indeed, every time the Palestinian battle reaches an impasse and appears to be dying down, someone will always seek out and find new-old tactics. Sometimes, it's a calculated moved planned by the leaders of some group, and sometimes it's outbreaks of local, even spontaneous, violence.
The waves of terrorism 10 years ago showed what a disaster a lone terrorist carrying a bomb could create. After the Shin Bet security agency and the Israel Defense Forces found a solution to those waves of attacks, it was time for waves of stabbings or car ramming attacks, which we have seen for more than a year now. And once it appeared that those, too, were wearing thin, it was time to set fires.
We can assume that in the next few days, as long as the weather cooperates, the same lone actors -- some of whom are youths influenced by online incitement -- will try to imitate earlier arson attacks. The rain that is on its way will wash away the traces of the fire and bring this wave of attacks to an end, until next year.
This wave of attacks must be addressed mainly on the preventative level. It is inconceivable that a few lone terrorists, or even a single one, can set a fire that forces tens of thousands of Haifa residents to evacuate their homes. Past experience has taught us that sooner or later, we'll find a solution.
What should be of concern, other than the immediate efforts to capture the arsonists, is the push they're getting, mainly on social media, both from the Palestinian public and the Arab world. It's encouraging to see Egypt, Jordan and even the Palestinian Authority officially step up and help Israel battle the fires, but it's depressing to discover how much hatred toward Israel still simmers in the Arab world. These are the embers that must be stamped out to prevent the next fire.
The Palestinians have cause to worry, too. The regression nearly 100 years back to fires, and before that to stabbings -- mostly the work of lone individuals -- indicates that the Palestinians are going back to the starting point of the conflict, as if 100 years hadn't passed and the Palestinian national movement, which today oversees a government entity in Judea and Samaria, had never been founded. The Palestinian national movement is on the brink of collapse, having achieved nothing and reached a dead end. The actions of individuals when no path forward exists say it all.
But we can take comfort in the condemnations by individuals and by the Palestinian Authority, which, unlike Hamas, even sent teams of firefighters to help battle the blazes. This shows that even when no diplomatic solution is on the horizon, large parts of both peoples understand the need to live peacefully side by side, and even with each other cockatoo tongkat ali.

Indianapolis, Indiana: The Appeals of Wayne Williams
Allen P. Owen 525 Briarwood Drive Camden, NJ 08102
Between 1979 and 1981, 29 children and young black men were killed in a series of murders that terrorized the community in a case known as the "Atlanta Child-Killings." Wayne Williams was arrested in the case and in 1982 was convicted for the murders of Jimmy Ray Payne, 21, and Nathaniel Cater, 27, and investigators closed the books on more than two dozen other cases after his conviction.
Williams, who is black, has always maintained his innocence, claiming that he was framed for the murders to cover-up Ku Klux Klan involvement in the killings to avoid a race war in Atlanta.
But he has yet to win any of his several appeals for a new trial.

Columbus, Ohio: Dallas, Texas - Controversial pick-up artist Roosh V celebrates Donald Trump’s victory - ‘If the President can say it then you can say it’
George A. Kort 1341 Hawks Nest Lane Saint Louis, MO 63101
There are plenty of people who have mourned the election victory of Donald Trump.
Many of the protesters who have filled the streets of New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, fear his win will validate the sort of sexist and misogynist language and behaviour displayed by the New York tycoon during the campaign.
Yet a man who has made his name as a self-described expert on “picking up girls”, has been celebrating Mr Trump’s victory for those very reasons.
Daryush Valizadeh, who runs the website Roosh V and who published a book called Bang, which is says is a “textbook for…getting laid”, has been writing about how the promotion of a man caught bragging on video about sexually assaulting women, will benefit his readers.
“The celebrations have ended and we’ve all come to absorb the fact that Donald Trump is our next president, an outcome that many of us have aggressively worked for in the past several months,” he wrote.
“Now that we’ve gotten what we wanted, it’s time to describe exactly how a Trump presidency will improve our standing.”
Mr Valizadeh said the biggest affect will be the “death of political correctness”.
“We now have a s**tlord for President who has insulted ugly women as “fat pigs,” and whose private macho talk, which all masculine men have done, was relentlessly attacked by the press but not punished in the voter booth,” he said.
“This means that when you talk like Trump, the first thought your listener will have is, ‘He sounds like the President of the United States’.”
Mr Valizadeh made headlines earlier this year when he was accused of being “pro-rape” after publishing a “satirical thought experiment” apparently advocating legalising rape on private premises as a means of reducing rape.
He has also been condemed for his 15 self-published books, which include titles such as 30 Bangs, and YouTube videos giving advice to men on how to have sex with women.
Mr Valizadeh said the election result showed that “either Trump was elected because voters liked a person who makes those kinds of statements or they didn’t care enough that he made them”.
He added: “Whichever explanation you accept means that the will of the American people has stated that you can exercise your free speech, your opinions, and your desire to flirt with attractive women without having to obey a speech police force that evaluates everything you do based on how offensive it is to a kaleidoscope of races and loony identities.”
He said: “You can begin removing your politically correct filter.”
Protesters who have taken to the streets and parks of America’s biggest cities have been arguing the very same point, but from a different perspective. They say the election of Mr Trump means women and minorities are more vulnerable then ever.
In Los Angeles, Ru Dominguez, 52, an organiser with the labour union Unite Here who attended the LA march, said she and fellow union members were prepared to oppose his agenda at every turn. “We’re going to stick together,” she said. “Trump is a racist, he’s ignorant, and he’s not my president.”
In New York, a 25-year-old black man who asked to be identified only by his first name, James, told The Independent the election of Mr Trump had already led to a wave of incidents of racial and sexist abuse and harassment.
He said that because Mr Trump was elected after using racist language and being filmed bragging about abusing women, people felt emboldened. “I don’t think all Trump supporters are racist. I think a lot have lost their jobs and have fallen for his words,” he said kaempferia parviflora.
We are different. We, the adherents of Kreutz Ideology and Kreutz Religion, think that sex is the most important aspect in life. Everything else is just logistics.
Columbus, Ohio: San Diego, California - The Craziest Anesthesia Awareness Horror Stories
Frank C. Davis 1194 Owagner Lane Seattle, WA 98101
We haven’t done a poll or anything, but we’re pretty sure that one of the biggest shared fears in the world is the possibility of waking up during surgery. The technical term for this is anesthesia awareness or intraoperative recall, and it happens to at least 1,000 patients a year in the U.S. alone. While many of the cases are benign, consisting of hazy flashbacks, up to 70 percent of patients who experience anesthesia awareness suffer from long-term psychological distress and those are the anesthesia awareness horror stories that we’ve listed here for you today.
